Particularly engaged in weaving, sewing, papermaking, working with clay, coiling, knitting, and drawing, I am an artist constantly yearning for labour intensive techniques and experimentation.
As I create, I constantly look to the human form on how it interacts with the work, the shadows the form produces, and the human body's ingenious structural engineering.
Much of my later undergraduate work expresses matters of the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. Plastic is permanently fused into the environment. Yet discarded materials are transformable.
